In memory of the boundary breaking photographer and filmmaker, they founded The Gordon Parks Foundation. Last night they handed out awards at a gala dinner to creative talents like Liya Kebede, Russell Simmons, Bruce Weber and Isabel Toledo. In 2006 Parks died at the age of 93, he shot for Vogue before becoming the first African-American photographer.
