Whyred Morph Autumn/Winter 2010

The Whyred fashion line for Autumn/Winter 2010 called Morph, they showed at 2 Febuary 2010 in Berns Salonger. This season the collection is build on the body-focused theme from last season and works with the idea of technology being used to tranced the limitations of the human body. The garments are loose and gemoetric in shape, the fluidity of fabrics causes them to drape around the body. Silhouettes in this line works with contrasts. The key details are drapes, folds, gun metals and oxide details in zips and accessoires. Clean cuts and Surface patterns.

Maria Lundqvist explains her fashion called Machine so: I have worked with leather as my basic material and focused on clothing for the upper half on the body. Here I am presenting primarily different takes on the classical leather jacket.

IX- Cut-Up by Ellinor Kellner
By cutting up comparatively classical silhouettes and garments and rearranging the component parts, Ellinor have attempted to create a collection with sharp contrasts and unexpected combinations of materials. The typical male silhouette has been coupled with traditional feminine forms.

Anna Svensson says about her line: I allowed myself to play for a little, leisurely time and just feel. A smile among line and squares and knitted wool, fingertips along surfaces.
my conclusion on the line: It's very wearable, you could defintely wear Anna's whole designs on the street.

VI- Insulation for a replicant System by Emilia Engblad
Emila explains her fashion line to you: My garments are a protective layer for net-yet born androids. They still have nerves that haven't merged with their humanoid bodies. Once they are born, they are fully grown but free from pain or memories. Sounds quiet freaky to me!
